Aired week of Oct 7, 1996
and week of Dec 23, 1996

ASTRONAUT JACK RILES IS STALKED BY AN OBSESSED ADMIRER ON 'THE CAPE.'

Plot: (pasted from the official "The Cape" Web Site)

Confident ladies' man Jack Riles always maintains the upper hand in matters of romance. But Jack's constant control of the fairer sex slips forever out of his grasp when he begins receiving strange phone calls, cryptic packages and terrifying threats. An unknown and psychotic fan slowly invades his life at NASA, at home and in public. But when she threatens Riles' astronomer girlfriend, she goes too far. Cutting the electricity off, the admirer creeps into the astronauts' beach house under cover of night, where Riles waits to face his most tortuous fear.

Meanwhile Bull becomes entangled in a fierce competition for a coveted Space Station Commander position with a slick media-friendly colleague with all the right connections. Lobbying for the job, Bull calls upon his distanced family for help. And, Reggie engages in a culture clash, during assignment to play baby-sitter to a visiting colonel from the National Space Development of Japan.

Riles: Ladies Man

Jack Riles (Adam Baldwin): What a ladies-man. Little does he know that a psychotic fan is watching his every move!

Andrea gives Bull a talk

Andrea (Katie Mitchell) gives Bull (Corbin Bernsen) a talk about updating his press kit which "reads like a mission plan". She tells him that if he doesn't "put a personal face on Bull Eckert" he won't have much of a chance to get the Space Station Commander position he wants.

Riles steals DB

Jack steals D.B. (David Kelsey) away from his orbital mechanics class to help him track down the woman who's stalking him. D.B. finds her address by searching the Internet. (Aren't computers cool!?!)

Shrine to Riles

Jack goes to her apartment and after finding the door open, he proceeds inside to find a horrifying shrine in his honor! Freaky Stuff!?!

Advise from Zeke

Surprisingly enough, Jack seeks the advise of Zeke (Cameron Bancroft), who advises him to hang out at the astronaut beach house to think about his next course of action.

She's got a gun!!

But the crazy woman (played by Candice Critchfield) shows up there later that night with a gun! You'll have to watch the show to see how it ends!!!

Actor Bios:

This Adam Baldwin Biography was taken from the NHL Celebrity All Star Hockey Web Site (of which, Cameron is also a team-member).

Adam Baldwin has always wanted a part like the one he plays in NBC's "In The Line of Duty: Smoke Jumpers." As a youth in Chicago, Adam grew up with the image of the American hero, as depicted by the likes of John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Steve McQueen. The character of smoke jumper Don Mackey in the NBC action-drama TV movie is exactly the kind of "reluctant hero" Baldwin watched those screen legends portray.

As a Chicago teenager, Baldwin was chosen from among four thousand aspiring actors to play the title role in the 1980 feature film, "My Bodyguard." During the same year he also landed a part in "Ordinary People," directed by Robert Redford. In 1981 he moved to New York, where he furthered his acting studies, drove a truck, and saw Al Pacino perform in "American Buffalo" over thirty times.

Baldwin moved to Los Angeles in 1984, where he studied with the great Roy London. He has since played a variety of roles in a wide range of films.

His television movies have included Showtime's "The Trade Off," HBO's "Blind Justice," and NBC's " Murder in High Places." Baldwin's feature films include Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket," "Radio Flyer," directed by Richard Donner, and Lawrence Kasdan's "Wyatt Earp." He has a major role in the science fiction interplanetary war film, "Independence Day," due out Summer 1996.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
